Welcome to ELBA

ELBA creates possibilities in East London by connecting business to local people alongside public and community partners, to enable social, economic and infrastructure change. For around twenty years, as an alliance of major City and Canary Wharf companies, ELBA members have engaged in a sustained, pro bono volunteering effort to support the regeneration of East London. Amongst out members we count over one hundred and twenty international investment banks, utility companies, law firms and many others that have built long-term relationships with every sector in the community.
In 2007/2008 we fielded over 7000 volunteers into Hackney, Tower Hamlets and the Thames Gateway, actively supporting more than 500 local organisations making a real difference to the lives of communities in some of the most deprived parts of East London.
ELBA offers our member companies an unparalleled networking opportunity both through our Area Forums and key stakeholder events. The Forums allow members to build relationships with key local players and help develop ELBA’s position on strategic issues. Our networking receptions and dinners provide a chance to meet top London business leaders, and to hear from key allies on the issues of the day.
